Pupils are admitted irrespective of caste, creed or community. New admissions from Pre-Nursery, Nursery & Prep are taken in the month of January and February and from Standard I to IX are taken in the month of February and March. The admission process is done in accordance with the norm of Right to Education Act.2009. The date of Birth must be supported by authentic official documents. In all matters relating to admission, Principal’s decision is final. The transfer cases are being given special consideration during the admission time.

However, the council reserves the right for special permission for admission into Standard XI & XII. Applications on prescribed forms are invited from students who have passed ICSE / CBSE / H.S.C Examinations.

A written application must be made by the parent (father or mother) for the transfer certificate of the student.

Prior to the withdrawal of the student, all fees must be clear till the month of withdrawal and T.C. charge  must be deposited.

The Transfer Certificate can be issued only after 2 days of the clearance of all fees and charges.

Certificates of Conduct or any other certificate and application forms for higher studies should be submitted three days in advance.

Generally withdrawals are not permitted in the middle of the session unless warranted by the transfer of the parent/guardian.

75 % of the total attendance during an academic session is compulsory for promotion to the next higher class or ICSE/ISC Examination.

In case of sickness or other unforeseen circumstances, the students returning to school must show the application along with medical certificate made by the parent/guardian duly sanctioned by the Principal to the class teacher.

Repeated absence without grant of leave or unexpected absence for more than 15 consecutive days renders the student liable to have his or her name struck off the rolls.

All are expected to return after the holidays on the reopening day of the vacation. Those who return late after the holidays will be fined Rs. 5/- per day for the period of absence.

Absence for more than 3 class days without prior information immediately after vacation renders the pupil liable to have his/her name struck off the rolls.

Courses of Studies are prescribed as per the approved ICSE and ISC syllabus of CISCE, New Delhi. A common syllabus from Standard I to VII for all Stewart Schools is being followed as prescribrd by the Diocesan Board of Education, C.N.I.

Art, Value Education and G.K. are taught from Standard I to VIII.

REQUEST TO PARENTS

Parents are requested to see that:

  1. Their children are neatly dressed and they attend the school regularly and punctually.
  2. Their children study their lessons regularly and do their homework properly. [for this a reference to school will help]
  3. No gold or artificial decorative ornaments are allowed. For girls small and simple ear rings are permitted.
  4. if a child is not feeling well, parents should keep the child at home. If parents are intimated to take a sick child, they should come as soon as possible.
  5. As far as possible parents are advised to avoid meeting their wards during class hours.
  6. Direct contact of parents with teachers about the progress of the pupils should be avoided. The Principal may be contacted for any such matter.
  7. Please keep in touch with the principal through correspondence or occasional visits to school and cooperate in the overall progress of their ward in studies and behavior.
  8. The principal of the school can be always contacted with concrete suggestions and genuine grievances by pupils or parents and prompt attention to redress such grievance will be given.

OBJECTIVES

  1. To impart to the students quality education under the Management of the Diocese of Cuttack, CNI. This includes not only training of mind but also molding of the character promoting leadership qualities in Private and Public life i.e. to promote all round development – intellectual, spiritual, physical, social etc..
